Natural remedies for hangovers



Many people wake up after a long night of fun and drinking wishing for a cure for the dreaded hangover. While there aren't any cures there are certainly many remedies to help treat the symptoms of hangovers.
  • Ginger is a great way to settle an upset stomach
  • Water is essential, drink it while drinking alcohol; as well, as after to rehydrate yourself.
  • B-Complex Vitamins are good to help give you back your energy by replacing lost vitamins.
  • Apples are a good remedy if taken on an empty stomach
  • bananas are great for calming the queasy stomach
  • lemon juice added to a cup of black coffee
  • lime juice and a tsp of sugar in a glass of water can help stabilize your blood sugar
  • peppermint has long been thought to have the ability to calm stomachs, plus it comes in a tasty tea.
  • persimmon can cure hangover headaches when eaten raw
  • prickly pear cactus extract has been shown to help nausea and dry mouth from hangovers.
  • raw cabbage helps alleviate headaches
  • thyme can be made into a tea to alleviate hangovers
  • vitamin C helps to stimulate the liver which breaks down alcohol faster.
  • tomato juice helps to process alcohol faster making hangovers disappear quicker.
